
Our camp is located approximately 40 miles East of Sacramento, and 67 miles West of South Lake Tahoe. We are 12 miles North of Highway 50 in the Lotus/Coloma area, just half a mile East of Sutter’s Mill where the Gold was discovered that started the California Gold Rush. We charter late model, luxury video equipped tour buses with air-conditioning, reclining seats, and a restroom. Our buses depart every Friday during the season from: Orange County at 1:00 PM. (State College, S of I-91) West Los Angeles at 2:00 PM. (Just N. of LAX.) Valencia at 3:15 PM. (near Magic Mountain) To identify the exact departure locations, please go to Tour Bus Departure Maps. Depending on traffic, we generally arrive at the camp about 10:15 on Friday night. For the return trip our buses depart around 2:30-3:00 Sunday afternoon, and return to the departure points between 9:15 and 11:00 PM.

The private airport is within 12 miles of our camp: Fly into Cameron Park Airport. Our guests take a taxi to our camp, and we will shuttle you back to your plane at no charge. Cameron Park Airport is shown on Drive-up Info Map.
