    River Mountain Action Rafting recognizes the dedication and effort of youth group leaders and does extend the special youth group pricing for all participants, youths, their leaders and group assistants. Special Prices are offered for legitimate youth groups, subject to the restrictions as outlined below:

    1. QUALIFYING ORGANIZATIONS: Only recognized organizations qualify for youth pricing, 4-H, Boy or Girl Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Campfire Girls, Boys and Girls Club of ____ City etc.

    2. MINIMUM AGE: Youngsters must be at least 10 years of age and weigh a minimum of 65#.

    3. RATIOS: Minimum: At least 1 Adult for every 6 Youths.
                       Maximum: No more than 1 Adult for every 3 Youths.
                       (Adults over the maximum pay regular, discounted prices).

    4. TRANSPORTATION: Coordinating the transport to and from the base camp is the responsibility of the Youth Group Leader. (Base camp is 40 miles East of Sacramento, California).

    5. LIABILITY: Our insurance carrier requires that a liability release be signed by a parent or legal guardian. (Youth Group Leader cannot sign on behalf of anyone other than their own youth(s)).

    6. MEDICAL RELEASE: Our insurance carrier requires that anyone under 18 traveling un-escorted by a parent or guardian must provide a medical release form authorizing professional medical attention as necessary signed by the parent or legal guardian.

    7. INSURANCE: All underage guests must present a copy of a valid medical insurance card identifying them as being covered participants in the insurance program. If there is no medical insurance in force, they must purchase the Cancellation / Medical Insurance. Go to “Cancellation Insurance” for full details. Please note that Cancellation Insurance for guests under 25 costs 5.5% of the trip cost and must be purchased when the initial deposit is paid.

    8. PRICING: Youth group prices are available on Midweek Trips only.

    9. APPLICATION: On your Organization’s letterhead please write:
